Jordane Gaudenzi is born in Lyon (France) in 1980. She works in photography since 1998.
During her literary studies happened the first main meeting with the Photographic Art and the darkroom. But it’s, following a travel through New-Caledonia, staying with the tribe of Gadjis (Island of the Pines) in 2001 that began her first artistic works/testimonies.
Coming back to France in 2002, she integrated the “Atelier de Photographie Magenta”, located in Villeurbanne (France), and learnt, thanks to Dominique SUDRE and Isabelle LEPRINCE, the Art of silver print (print, masking, development), the mastery of several photographic technical processes (pinhole, 24x36 mm, medium format, photographic room) as well as History of contemporary and visual photography.
Her artwork is essentially based on matter, and movement, allowing an important value to aesthetic and composition of picture.
